In 2008, chiandetti-kuhn embarked on a careful investigation of the postcolonial landscape of India, looking closely at areas of memory, history and landscape.

Attracted to the disintegrating nature of their surroundings, c-k used readily available materials to study and respond to long used Indian practices, as well as working in the natural environment, to produce a body of work that reflects and questions their own thought structures as western artists.
